Speaker:It's not because pitching is not so much about you making a profit.
Speaker:It's much rather about the other party making an even greater profit.
Speaker:The more they benefit, the better.

Speaker:When my wife and I sold our first license in the us toy market, we
Speaker:left out everything that most people would consider the core of a pitch.
Speaker:No praise, no cheering, no profit forecasts, nothing that
Speaker:you'd normally find in a pitch.
Speaker:All we did when we pitched the product was to spark imagination.
Speaker:We crafted a story that made our partners visualize how they could
Speaker:turn our idea into a profit.
Speaker:We made them see the final product.
Speaker:We made them see children wanting that product.
Speaker:We made them see people falling in love with the product.
Speaker:And so we pulled the future into the present by having them
