Michael:

Some people are so afraid of failing that they can't find the

Michael:

courage to succeed, sometimes to the degree that they won't even start to

Michael:

play; out of fear that something could go wrong, to their embarrassment.

Michael:

They just don't make that call.

Michael:

They just don't publish that post.

Michael:

They just don't hit the record button to shoot that video.

Michael:

Even though their story is great and they've rehearsed it a hundred times.

Michael:

Even though their pitch is perfect.

Here's the thing:

the prerequisite of winning is playing.

Here's the thing:

You can't win, if you don't play.

Here's the thing:

If you feel like it needs more refinements, then sure, refine it.

Here's the thing:

If you feel like you need more practice, then sure, practice.

Here's the thing:

But eventually you'll have to go out and play your game.

Here's the thing:

We need you to.

Here's the thing:

And yet, let me be clear.

Here's the thing:

Some people really do suffer from anxiety and it's appropriate to

Here's the thing:

respect that there's not much use in arguing that a failure is highly

Here's the thing:

unlikely or that it wouldn't be bad.

Here's the thing:

It's a fear and as such, it's irrational.

Here's the thing:

People affected by this know that very well.

Here's the thing:

So don't judge them for it.

Here's the thing:

Keep in mind that you are not walking in their shoes.

Here's the thing:

You haven't made their experiences.

Here's the thing:

So you are not in a position to judge their fears and anxieties.

Here's the thing:

But again, if you can find the courage to go out there and your chances of winning

Here's the thing:

or succeeding have just skyrocketed.
